The show will be an extra ten minutes long, running from 9:20-10pm on Thursday, May 11th.ĭid you know that the season finale was written by Steve Carell? Guess he really wet his chops writing the screenplay for Threat level Midnight. So what does this mean? I know that we were really hoping for a truly supersized season finale, as in one hour, but I’ll take what I can get. I’m sure this has much more to do with the quality writing and superb acting than our little petition, but either way this is fantastic news!! In a press release issued today, NBC has announced that the season finale of The Office will in fact be Supersized!! Looks like our efforts paid off.
